The Last Sermon Of The Holy Prophet

Q : 1 What does the last sermon teach us ? OR Write three/four main point of the Last Sermon of the Holy Prophet(P.B.U.H) ?

Ans. It teaches us that there is no God Except Allah. Only the goodness of a person makes him superior to others. The most righteous is the most honorable. All Muslims are brother to one another. The holy book of God, the Quraan, is present to give us guidance.

Q : 2 On what three Principe did the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H)  found an Islamic society in Medina?

Ans. He founded an Islamic society in Medina on the following three Principle.
i)                    All power belongs to God.
ii)                  Muhammad (P.B.U.H) is the Prophet of God.
iii)                All the Muslims are brother to one another.

Ans. In 622 A.D the Prophet (P.B.U.H) himself migrated to Medina. This event is known in history as Hijra. Hazrat Abu Baker accompanied him to Medina.

Ans. The Quraish were bitter enemies of the Muslims. So the Holy Prophet(P.B.U.H) asked the believer to migrate to Medina. They were in great trouble and agony in Makkah.

Ans. The Holy book of God, the Quran, for our guidance. If we act according to it we will never go wrong. We should read it daily and try to understand what it teaches. If we make a habit of acting according to it teachings, we will very soon achieve our former greatness in the world.

Ans. The woman were considered as a chattel. He made them legally equal with men. He raised their respect.

Shah Abdul Latif

Q: 1 When and where was born Shah Latif’s ?

Ans. Shah Abdul Latif was born in 1689 in Hala Haveli.

Q:1 Why is Shah Abdul Latif called Bhittai ? What other qualities did he posses besides beings a saints ?

Ans. He is called Bhittai because he lived and died on a bhit. The qualities of Shah Latif’s poetry are simplicity  and music. Shah wrote the poetry in the language of a common man. Everyone is moved by its melody.

Ans. Shah Latif Loved the peace and quiet of the scene. He spent much of his time sitting on the bank of the lake. As he sat there, he prayed to God and sometimes composed version in his praise.

Ans. Shah Latif loved simplicity in music and musical instruments. He also invented musical instrument called “Tambooro”. However, the number of strings in it is different. Moving tunes of Tambooro and Shah Latif’s poetry is popular all over Sindh.

Ans. Latif’s devoted collected his poetry. It is called ‘Shah jo Risalo ’ (Risalo of Shah Abdul Latif). The collection of Shah’s poems is so valued that it has been translated into many international language.             


Moen-Jo-Daro

Ans.The object kept in the museum are seals, jewellery, toys, weapons, painted pottery,  metal statue of a dancing girls, metal tools and the head of a bull (which is the best find of Moen-jo-Daro and was used as a seal).

Ans. Although Helen Keller had become blind and deaf at the age of two. She studied hard and graduated from Harvard university. She passed her whole life helping the blind and deaf children.

Ans. Helen Keller fell dangerously ill at the age of two. She became blind and deaf owing to an illness. Before this she could hear and see everything. All felt sorry for her.

Ans.  Miss Sullivan was Helen’s teacher. She had herself become blind when she was a child.  She would take Helen to the river bank and put her hand in the water. Slowly she made her write word “w-a-t-e-r”. Thus she taught her many words.

Ans. He received his early education in his home town. He passed M.A in 1899 from the university of Punjab. In 1905, he left for England for higher studies and got a law degree from London. In 1908, he was awarded a degree of Ph.D by Munich university. That is why he is known as Dr. Muhammad Iqbal.

Ans. Major Aziz Bhatti was born in Hong Kong on 1928. The martyrdom of Major Aziz Bhatti teaches of patriotism. He laid down his life in the defence of his country. In the same way should be ready to sacrifice everything in the defence of our country.
