SZABIST Course Transfer Policy
General Conditions

Transfers are only accepted from HEC-recognized universities.

Only courses with a minimum grade of B or above (80% marks) are eligible for transfer.
-
Transfer requests must be submitted at the time of admission.
-
All candidates must fulfill SZABIST admission requirements.
Bachelor Programs (BBA / BS / BE)
-
A maximum of 50% credits may be transferred.
MBA Programs
-
MBA (36 Credit Hours): Maximum of 6 credits may be transferred. (Research Project/Thesis is not transferable)
-
MBA (72 Credit Hours): Maximum of 36 credits may be transferred. (Research Project/Thesis is not transferable)
-
Only relevant EMBA (SZABIST) courses are transferable to the MBA program, subject to eligibility.
MPM, MOA, and B.Ed Programs

A maximum of 6 credits may be transferred.
MS Programs
-
In case of re-admission after self-withdrawal:
-
Up to 50% of coursework may be transferred if completed within the last 2 years.
-

For external students: Same policy applies as above.
-
Certificate Courses: Maximum of 2 courses may be transferred if completed within the last 2 years.

CGPA Requirements:
-
SZABIST Students: Minimum 2.75 (B-)
-
External Students: Only grades equivalent to 80% or higher are transferable.
-

GAT General must be cleared at the time of re-admission after self-withdrawal.
-
Thesis, IRS, or any other research work is NOT transferable.
-
Policy also applies to inter-program transfers within SZABIST.
-
For inter-campus transfers, SZABIST rules from the Student Handbook apply.
PhD Programs

In case of re-admission after self-withdrawal:

Up to 50% of coursework may be transferred if completed within the last 1 year.
-

For external students: Same policy applies as above.
-
Certificate Courses: Maximum of 2 courses may be transferred if completed within the last 1 year.

CGPA Requirements:

SZABIST Students: Minimum 3.00 (B)
-
External Students: Only grades equivalent to 80% or higher are transferable.

SZABIST Inter-Campus Transfer

Candidates must fulfill the admission requirements of the local campus.
-
All courses/grades are transferable.
-
A transfer fee is payable for students transferring from any other SZABIST campus.
Certificate Course Transfer
-
For candidates from SZABIST Certificate Programs:
-
Undergraduate Programs: Maximum 5 courses transferable.
-
Master’s/MS Programs: Maximum 2–3 courses transferable.
-
PhD Programs: Maximum 2 courses transferable.
-
Minimum Grade Requirements:

PhD: B and above
-
MS: B- and above
-
Master’s: C+ and above
-
Bachelor’s: C and above
